Dayo Lomuwagun – Principal Manager
Dayo Lomuwagun is the Principal Manager at Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria. As a chartered accountant, Dayo has vast experience in audit, financial control, financial reporting, treasury management, funds management, strategy consulting and capacity building. Prior to joining PHN, he was the Head, Group Operations at ReStraL Limited. He trained with Deloitte, Nigeria and holds a M.Sc. in Financial Management from Edinburgh Business School UK. He is a facilitator of Personal Excellence Programme and Accounting for Non Accountants Programme. Dayo is a prolific writer and published many books to his credit. |
Azuka Okeke
Pharm. Azuka Okeke- Director/Snr. Manager
Azuka is a Director/Snr. Manager with the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PHN), based in Lagos and serves as the lead for the Africa Resource Centre for Supply Chain in Nigeria. She leads the ARC Nigeria team to implement project activities; utilizing excellent strategic planning and communication techniques to meet project goals. Azuka also serves as the lead for Partnership development for PHN, initiating private sector engagements and aligning this to the public health sector to drive health impact in Nigeria. Before joining PHN, Azuka worked as a Senior Quality Manager for PharmAccess Foundation Nigeria, a Non-governmental organisation, supporting health financing projects across Nigeria. Azuka holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Liverpool UK. She has a Certificate in Project Leadership from Cornell University and a supply chain management certificate from I+Solution The Netherlands. Her Bachelor’s degree is in Pharmaceutical Sciences and she is currently undertaking a Distance Learning MBA program from the Edinburgh Business School UK. |

Adaora Odukwe
Adaora Odukwe - Associate, Innovation
Adaora currently works in the innovation work stream of the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PHN). She is responsible for coordinating strategy development, providing operational and technical support to the various components of the Nigeria Health Innovation Marketplace (set up by the Alliance to address critical health sector needs to improve the country’s health outcomes). Prior to joining PHN, Adaora worked with the Health Promotion department of a United Kingdom based company where she facilitated the delivery of free National Health Service (NHS) health checks to members of diverse communities as part of a health innovation to aid the prevention and early detection of cardiovascular disorders in the United Kingdom.
She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Microbiology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University and holds a Master of Science degree in Public Health from the University of Bedfordshire where she registered as a member of the Royal Society for Public Health. |
Dr. Adetayo Adewoyin
Dr. Adetayo Adewoyin – Associate
Adetayo is an Associate with the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PHN) and currently works on a range of projects including harnessing the assets and resources to expand a private sector-led catalytic fund for eliminating malaria in close alignment with national strategies, offering technical oversight to PHN’s support to States for the execution of Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) interventions notably during nationwide MNCH weeks. Prior to PHN, Adetayo worked at the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, a 21st century health financing institution based in Geneva, Switzerland, which supports about 140 countries around the world.
He holds a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MB; BS) from the University of Lagos, and a Master of International Healthcare Management, Economics and Policy (Distinction) from the SDA Bocconi School of Management (Bocconi University), Milan, Italy. |
Dr. Zeinab Cole
Dr. Zeinab Cole- Associate
Zeinab, an associate with the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PHN), works on health strengthening system projects, in particular innovative health financing and Maternal, Newborn and Child Health programs. Zeinab coordinates the integration of the resources and capabilities of the corporate private sector, federal and state health institutions, social service agencies, and other organizations to drive implementation of specific health interventions aimed at improving reproductive, maternal and child health care (RMNCH), nutrition as well as other interventions. Prior to PHN, she worked as a Physician at Retro Screen Virology, a clinical trial company specializing in human challenge model to test new emerging drugs and vaccines for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
Zeinab holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anatomy and Human Biology from Kings College, London and a Bachelor’s of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) degree from St Bartholomew School of Medicine and Dentistry, London. She is currently undertaking her Master's in Public Health and management health science from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. |
Babatunde O-Johnson
Babatunde O-Johnson - Manager
Babatunde is a manager with the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PHN), based in Lagos and currently works on a number of ambitious and innovative projects including; an initiative to setup Africa’s first MIT Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Network Center in Nigeria, the African Resource Center for supply chain - to strengthen Public Health Supply Chain systems, as well as a novel social franchising network to offer basic services on Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (RMNCH). Prior to PHN, Babatunde worked at the Lagos office of McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm, supporting projects across Africa. Babatunde holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Magna Cum Laude – First class honors) from the American University of Nigeria. |
Alexander Chiejina
Alexander Chiejina- Communications Lead/Associate
Alexander Chiejina is an associate, communications lead for Private Sector health Alliance of Nigeria, Alexander oversees brand marketing, media and public relations as well as internal and external corporate communications. He is responsible for developing a system-wide proactive media communication plan and deploying digital marketing tools to improve the brand image of the Alliance. Prior to this position, Alexander spent six years as Health Correspondent and Head, Features Desk and member of the editorial Board at BusinessDay Newspaper, Nigeria where he wrote articles, business-related stories and editorials on health, national and global issues. Alexandar is a Fellow, Chartered Institute of Administration (FCIA) and currently running an MBA with Business School Netherlands, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Microbiology degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University and a certificate in Digital Marketing from EduPristine international, India. He is also an alumnus of School and Media Communications, Pan Atlantic University, Lagos. He is a fellow, Health Writers Association of Nigeria (FHEWAN). |

Cyril is an associate with the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PHN). As a Chartered Accountant, Cyril works in the Finance Department delivering cutting edge financial reporting, analysis, grant management and grant reporting. . Prior to PHN, Cyril worked at Pedabo I Tax I Audit I Advisory an independent member of Morison International a world class firm, where he rose to a Senior Tax Consultant, providing exceptional Services and timely solutions to clients Tax, Audit and Financial advisory needs in Financial Services, Banking, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Information Technology and Oil & Gas. Cyril trained with Pedabo a member of Morison KSi and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Education, Winneba Ghana. |
Dr. Stephanie Fowler
Dr. Stephanie Fowler – Associate
Stephanie is an associate with the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PHN), where she is responsible for providing technical assistance and program management to support various work streams such as developing synergies between the needs of the health system and the capabilities, techniques and resources of the private sector to address identified health market failures. She currently works on various projects including the Africa Resource Center for Supply Chain Project (ARC Nigeria) – Partnership lead. Prior to PHN, Stephanie worked for Forte Oil Plc as the Occupational Health Officer. Stephanie holds a medical degree from Trinity College Dublin. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Health (International) from the University of Birmingham. She is duly registered as a medical practitioner with both the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and the General Medical Council (GMC), UK. |
Chidi .C. Dara
Chidi .C. Dara - HR/ Admin Analyst
Chidi currently works as an HR/ Admin Analyst with the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria, where he provides administrative support to the teams on various projects, coordinates all recruitment process, and provides strategic support to management in area of capacity building, succession planning and talent management. He also provides human resources support aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of individuals and teams in PHN, Support procurement process in the Alliance by ensuring commensurate value for PHN. Prior to joining the Alliance, Chidi trained and worked with Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN) as an HR assistance, during his time with MPN, he managed many HR projects such as Coordinated the logistics for all training program He is graduate of Economics from Imo State University. He is currently rounding up his Master’s Degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management at the University of Lagos Nigeria. He is an associate member of the chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria. |
Olumide Alonge
Olumide Alonge - Associate
Olumide is an Associate at the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PHN) who curates disruptive innovations in the Nigerian Health Innovation Marketplace. He co-develops strategic, technical and programme management procedures for the marketplace. He is passionate about improving Nigeria’s health outcomes through innovation and business development and continues to explore new solutions to solve societal issues. Prior to his current role at PHN, Olumide worked with start-up companies at the Harvard University Innovation Lab. He earned his Master’s degree in Management from Harvard University and also holds a Master of Science in Engineering & Technology Management and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology from Louisiana Tech University, USA. |

Olabisi Dabiri – Analyst
Olabisi is an analyst with the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PHN), based in Lagos. She works on a range of projects leveraging the assets and capabilities of the private sector to tackle challenges around malaria, nutrition and innovation. Olabisi is also responsible for strategy and execution in the communications of the Alliance and the Nigeria Health Innovation Marketplace (NHIM) especially across the social media platforms. Prior to PHN, She worked as a communications consultant at Christopher Kolade Foundation (CKF), where she advised the organization on short or long term communications strategies to improve its visibility and impact. Prior to CKF, she worked at LEAP Africa, a leadership development non-profit organization.

Kabir Umar Dangote
Kabir Umar Dangote – Analyst
Kabir works as an Analyst with the Private Sector Health Alliance, where he provides technical support to various projects such as working on the proposed Nigeria’s social franchise for health project, facilitating the engagement process involved in supporting States for implementation of state-based maternal, newborn and child health weeks across the nation, Concept development and operationalization of an innovative catalytic financing platform for supporting Nigeria’s malaria pre-elimination agenda, among many other health interventions. Prior to PHN, Kabiru served at the Disease and control division National Primary Health Development Agency (NPHCDA), a parastatal of Nigeria’s Ministry of Health.

Maryam Lawal – Analyst
Maryam is an international development analyst and social science researcher with development organisations such as Chigari Foundation, Initiative for Revival and Sustainable Development (IRSD) and Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PHN).
