The Nigeria Health Innovation Marketplace is a convergence platform for key actors in the country’s healthcare innovation ecosystem. The marketplace aims to spur broad scale innovations in health, support social entrepreneurship, and connect actors in the innovation ecosystem with the intent to leapfrog constrains and accelerate improvement in outcomes. NHIM is interested in a wide array of innovations ranging from process, technology to new markets and more across the healthcare value chain. |

Early results and lessons from the NHIM have informed the structure of the Innovation Fund DLI of the Federal Ministry of Health’s Saving One Million Lives Initiative Program-for-Results (SOMLP4R).NHIM is also mobilizing a private sector-driven innovation map with active support from private sector organizations that provide on-going accelerator support and mentorship to enable promising health innovations achieve scale. In all of this, the private sector continues to be an essential actor in catalyzing, promoting and investing in innovative approaches and social enterprises.

Health Innovation Development Accelerator Program (HiDAP)
HiDAP is designed as a bespoke non-residential program for innovators that combines real-world experience with established business principles. It combines academic frameworks and theories with in-field experience, application and testing.
